What is your background?? ya yah I know.. you are Canadian or American or what ever Country you were born in.. but history wise, nationality?

When I lived in Toronto I used to get asked alot..like it's a big thing to people.. and they would always ask...What are you?

I have Metis (half breed)/Native status in Canada. My father is Cree and my Mother born French Canadian and her parents were Irish and Belgian.

My grand father on my mothers side is Russian and on my Dads side they're just plain whole canadian folks!

Ellis Island Jewish immigrants on both sides of my family. The last ones made it over here from England 90 years ago. The rest came from Poland and Russia and fortuanately got out way before all hell broke loose.

Well from what I know, I'm half British (Scottish, English, and Welsh) and half Italian. But I understand there is some very distant German in there too.

Wow I have never met another girl from Lithuania. I have only met 1 guy in my whole life other than my family that was Lithuanian.

British on my mothers side, French Canadian and Cree (1/8) on my Fathers side. I don't know much about the Cree, a few years a go my Aunt did some research on our family history. My Grandmother still wont talk about it. But at least it explains the pale olive complexion.
