This is one American you won't be shot by. We have people homeless and starving here and not much is done about it. Some organizations have to fight like hell to get financial aide from the government. It's a constant battle. Meanwhile, Americans are suffering.

Doesn't make much sense to me that we have to fight constantly to take care of our own, but when it comes to taking care of civilians in a foreign country, the US seems to just have millions and millions of dollars worth of aide to supply.

We have schools that have closed because of lack of funding. Our education system is getting weaker. We have Americans who do not seek healthcare because they can't afford the insurance. Unemployment and the poverty level rises. We raise the cost of living and then neglect our seniors and those on fixed incomes. This should never happen in the US. We are supposed to be the great power house. The refuge everyone seeks. But whenever Americans ask for help from their own government, it's a war of it's own to get funding.
