I think that if you're on a cable connection, the results will be different almost every time you do this test. Depending on how many people in your neighbourhood are connected at the same time as you... |

Yeah.. that is the one downfall of cable.. you are sharing with everyone on that line...
i'm limited to 1.5 on our T-1.. but everyone in our office is getting 1.5... but that is also up and down... not sure about canada.. but most att broadband and dsl lines.. here in the us (in our area anyway) limit to 128k upload...

You can also use this thing to test your server. Of course it will never be the absolute top speed of the server but it's a good indication. When I tested it my score actually went from 1.3 to 1.5 megabits so it was faster than their server, hehe.
