text links vs banners

What is better in galleries text linkr or banners surfers more clicks to links or banners what is more profit??

Maybe same mix 1 banner 1 text links or oly banners only text links? I make all my galleries with text links with very different ctr, but no with banners.

text links consume smaller bandwidth than banners so i suggest text links will be better.

Text links can always be easily incrporated into your gallery design without throwing it off.....

Sometimes, banners will ruin the look of you gallery I think or make your gallery look weird cause of the different color matches......the BW issue is also true....I prefer text links

Everyone has their own understanding and I look towards the replies
from Fetishlady, cheeks and Sheri
(Welcome to Xnations by the way Sheri )
and know that they are more than correct and this is because they have
tested this method and know about text links vs banners links.

Lucas, only after testing yourself that you will find what method suits
your sites and only after first testing it out yourself, you'll know when
to place a test link and or banner.

To briefly try to give yourself a reply to your question mate, i always believe that there are different levels of links. First is the filtering
as people typically see banners as advertising and text as alternative content.

Then there would be the graphic (banner), after you have grabbed
their attention you would want to arouse them and keep their mind
on what you are selling them.

Btw how are those galleries going for yourself?
