Like every other nation, the Philippines celebrates Holy Week, also known as Easter and Lent.

The crucifixion of Jesus Christ is literally re-enacted in bloody spectacles in the provinces on Good Friday. It's not for the faint-hearted, but large crowds turned out particularly in San Fernando and other towns in Pampanga.

these people are crazy in the eyes of some but i believe they are doing this for some reasons: like religious beliefs, some do it cause it's their way of paying the sins or mistakes they've done.
