One of the great mortifications of my life is that my husband, normally a man of taste, actually eats Spam on purpose. Now, if we were financially drained and could only afford a "meat product" like Spam, that would make sense. If we were locked securely in the bomb shelter and all that was available was the canned "meat product," it would make sense. Both of those would be making the best of a bad situation.
But to purchase it on purpose to eat?
That makes NO sense to me.
I generally dive for the peanut butter and jelly sandwiches when he decides he's having his Spam.
I don't know what the people in Hawaii are thinking. (They eat a lot of Spam on purpose for some reason unknown to the other 49 states.)
