Why do people...
Make asses of themselves on the boards?
I just don't get it. Why would you act like a complete asshole on a board? What is the point? Why would anyone just go off accusing people of shit without finding out the whole truth or just dealing with it in private??
I am having somewhat of a crisis here. Someone attacked one of our programs on another board. I would looooove to go over there and rip him a new asshole, but that wouldnt look good. So, I have to politely find out why this guy is badmouthing us and then do what i can to fix it (although its prolly something they did in the first place).

Okay, this has officially become a saga....
Im sitting here working like a good girl when I get ICQed. The question posed to me was "are you ever gonna get a real legit job?" Thinking this was one of my friends or family I responded hell no! Well, needless to say the conversation went downhill from that - oh, and the only info on the profile is boston, Ma. Basically degrading me, but keeping me on the hook by telling me things only people in the biz would know - little bits and pieces. -- I still thought it could be one of my weirdo friends in the biz, some of us can get pretty crass.
Well, after a while of this i finally decide i've had enough and say if they dont tell me who it is, im hitting the ignore button. The response? "I will just get another ICQ nick/account and "entertain" you some more"
Well, this got me thinking. That is an awful lot of effort for someone to just mess with me....
Then it occured to me - the only thing i did today that could possibly incite this reaction was reply to the accusation made on the other board!

Well like lots of people on the internet. ALot talk big and alot of shit when behind a screen. But get them in person or hit them back where it hurts and they shut up or rant off about you. Too many think they king(queen) shit when they at their computer. But then hide behind momy's skirt in real life.
I just ignore them and not waste time and effort on them. In the end it not worth it at all.
