1 medium Webmasters should embrace more are the adult blog plugs.. I know it's extra work than let's say a regular gallery page.. but you can have 20-30-50 link outs in some cases.. of course sell your content.. but you have the whole page to link out to your sponsors, your site, your blog etc and all that with as much descriptive text to sell your stuff further. Some good examples of sites are
www.kaktuz.com or for babe stuff
www.funberry.com the plugs are usually in the middle of the page.
The only kicker is that most of these blogs dint want hardcore content.. so you have to be prepared for that.
