I'm also fairly newish, I got loads of traffic but no payment or subscription in place, wanna swop?

Affiliate Promotion is definitely the way to go mate...

I got most of my traffic by linking to highly relevant blogs/forums/free video sites.

I'm in the midst of a redesign so I'd be interested in seeing your affiliate program, once you have sorted it out...
