I think it's different for creative people.

We have the ability to channel the sex energy into creative things for a while but then it needs a sexual release and the creative thing just won't do.

I can't speak for LAJ but it sounds like that is what he's talking about.

I have to say though when I was 18 and for many years before I got into my 40's I had to minimum once a day. Usually more. Even with the creative stuff going on.

I always think you need to shoot as often as you can to keep everything working. Like if you don't use it you lose it.

It's also good to not do it so you keep hard for a while. Whacking off to the point of being limp all the time is no fun either.
