Digifan, rich residents of Hong Kong and Beijing (with dual citizenships I suspect) are having a field day purchasing foreclosed houses left and right in the States. It started halfway through the recession early last year.
India may not look much from our end, but Western economists say that India is almost there in becoming an economic power. The rich people of both China and India have immense purchasing power and there's a burgeoning middle class that has a significant amount of disposable income.
