In the beginning, I would've preferred leaving the house and going to an office. Now, I'm pretty used to working from home. I don't have children and my bf works from home. We have a system that works. I've mastered the "selective hearing" skill. I have my own routine. I also don't need to mess with Montreal winters, alarm clocks, traffic, and non-in house office expenses. |

Office. I can at least stop myself if I say "I have to go home" or else I just end up working much longer hours when I do it from home.

I do freelance work out of my home, but I come to the office for my sales job at WWC. The only problem I have with working at home is getting motiviated. I think if it were my full time job I would be better at it. But I do find myself finding constructive ways of getting out of doing work when I'm home. LOL! |

I like both. Home is good because you make your own hours and it's totally up to you to achieve your own (and your mandated) quotas.
Working in an office is fun too, though, in my opinion. Having lot's of people around (a staff) and all the silly and fun things that go on in a laid back office environment is something I enjoyed quite a lot.

 Both offer benefits.
Having just recently started going out to an office again, I found that I was less motivated to leave the house on days when I knew I could get done what needed to be done at home. Home provides alot of comforts and office does not.

But like EC said, when the office environment is "laid back", and quirky things happen which takes away the duldrums of working alone from home.

On evenings & weekends SK and I work from home together...

I prefer going to an office, to many distractions at home to take me away from the work I need to do like my kitties....=) |

I work from home now, but considering office space. The only thing with me is I have to have a kitchen area too. |

 | Dyonisus, if I were to put together the ideal office environment, I think that you and SK would have to be involved as integral parts of the staff! |
