Kind of sucks, doesn't it? If the first day of school wasn't on the 4th, Labor Day was. We got screwed either way.
I liked it when the first day of school was on the 4th. . .for me the first day of school was always the best one. And if Labor Day fell on it, then I'd tell all of my friends that because it was my birthday, they didn't have to go to school!
